However – since June 12th, something has perked up my sleepy mornings – a new daily ritual. Every morning I visit Stazione, the new cafe and take-away created by CERVO Mountain Boutique Hotel. My son and I pop in for a coffee – with an extra shot of espresso of course – either to take-away (depending on my toddler’s mood) or we sit at one of the tables watching the lively hustle and bustle and chatting with the friendly staff.
It’s a place where all kinds of people come together: locals starting their day before work with a coffee and a newspaper; people waiting for their trains to depart or for their loved ones to arrive. But be warned, the big clock on the wall always shows 11:55 – it helps you forget about the daily grind!
Besides, time doesn’t matter when you taste one of the delicious homemade granola bowls. And if you don’t want to start your day with a croissant, there’s the option of a yummy miso soup.
Time flies with a toddler, and when I’m in a rush, I love being able to order fresh take-away salads, soups and sandwiches – and if I’m feeling too lazy to cook, it’s great to have the option of a healthy take-out.
Forgotten to pick up that last minute birthday present? Stazione has the solution. A range of thoughtful gifts from organic natural soaps to CERVO branded products. My apartment is starting to look like CERVO’s little sister…well, what can I say…I like shopping 🙂
And if the extra shot of espresso is not enough to revive you – enjoy a cold beer or chilled glass of wine. Of course, alcohol is never the solution..but sometimes it might just help! And for those of you with a sweet tooth, try one of their tempting ice creams or an iced coffee.
Well, thanks to Stazione, the CERVO Mountain Boutique Hotel outpost on the Bahnhofstrasse, for saving my mornings and helping me create a new ritual.
See you there – most probably chasing after my child..
