Zermatt Rösterei, is a heaven for coffee lovers in the Alps!

In winter 2018, we are moving the Rösterei to Aroleid in Furi, a beautiful mountain restaurant with a seating capacity of 90 inside and 70 outside, to be built in along a contemporary, shared-style dining concept, upon the theory that

“…all good things should be shared.” 

We will be making our own plates and cups under the Zermatt Keramik brand. Each plate and cup will be unique and available for purchase by diners if they so desire. The restaurant will be open for lunches and ticketed pop-up fine dining experiences in the evenings.

Aroleid Kollektive will be the home of the Zermatt Coffee Lab and the Zermatt Keramik, providing classes for groups as well as individuals. Class fees include all materials as well as a lunch at the restaurant called Aroleid Kollektive. We have six ceramic Shimpo wheels and our own oven for burning all creations at 1300 C, so you can choose your style of glazing and we ship your work home straight after they are fired. We will be producing stone ware for restaurants and hotels too. We are offering barista as well as brewing classes at the Zermatt Kaffee Lab situated in the ground floor of the Aroleid Kollektive, and satisfying your curiosity regarding all coffee related things! All events and classes will be available for purchase through our booking platform, Zermatt Tourism and other European and Asian holiday operators. We greatly look forward to be sharing our knowledge and passion for great things in life in the beautiful setting below the Matterhorn!
